Everybody is saying Spain. So I'll do something different. Same peninsula: Portugal

I always cheer for Country/Continent/Hemisphere

So:

Mexico
Brazil

As an adopted Scot I can't ever bring myself to cheer for England. My Scot would deport me to England! Besides, the English are still bragging about 1966 which gets really annoying.

As opposed to the Scottish, who are still bragging about...oh wait.

Aye, but at least they're not annoying and arrogant.

I find this Scottish thing very sad.

I wouldn't mind if it were true, but having got interested in football circa 1970 I had to endure two decades of England mediocrity.

Just to add that I get hacked off with all the hype surrounding England going to the tournament, but I don't go around slagging other teams off.

Lancet, we are not ready to win a WC yet, I do hope we make some noise. My final game teams are Brazil and Spain.

Call me crazy, but I like Argentina's chances. They've got some good scorers in Messi and Milito. I'm going with them or Spain.

Surely there must be some way to do a CD bracket/board on this.

Then again, maybe not.

I say Argentina, US, Brazil, Italy in the semi's with Brazil defeating Argentina in a rematch of some other WC finals sometime back.

Of course I'd love to see Uruguay winning the World Cup again, but I know it's sooooo difficult. I know Spain is the favourite to win, but being a favourite isn't a good thing.

Argentina has very good players, like Messi, but I think Maradona won't be a good thing for them.

I agree with the majority, and I think Spain will win this year.
