Of course, if 20% is a negligible difference as suggested in other threads, then maybe it's no big deal to change the census guidelines so that Greenville comes out on top. But, why stop here, maybe if we combine 15 upstate
counties, the area will be large enough for an NFL team, maybe the Greenville Panthers because I am sure some math works to make Greenville larger than Charlotte.
Green Bay Packers.

LOL..it is a small MSA, not way around that. It is one of the most unique situations in all of sports.

Are you saying that Greenville could support a major league spoets team?

The Greenbay Packers could have been named the Wisconsin Packers. They are "the last vestige of small-town teams once common in the NFL." If South Carolina ever gets a pro team, a centrally located site would be ideal.

Do you really think that Greenville could support the NFL? If so, who is going to pay for the $750m stadium? Who's is going to buy 11k club seats each year? Who is going to buy around 150 - 200 suites each year at a price oF $100k plus? What companies are going to sponsor the team?

Most importantly for Greenville, who is going to tell Clemson that they will have to split the local dollars with the NFL?

Green Bay is a hold over from the pre NFL days, I would not use that as an example for Greenville. At best, you would be like Jacksonville which is struggling to support the Jaguars. And, Jax is much larger than Greenville.

Like Charlotte. South Carolina doesn't need any first-tier professional teams right now.

Let's not warp people's words, or begin to speculate that ALL of Greenville thinks that it needs NFL.

Read my words exactly as they are written. Your hate is so funny. Charlotte board not busy? Or is it too busy so you don't get noticed brother?
