Planning for a Move to SC (North: schools, quality of life, living in)

Hello All,
I'm currently living in Cleveland, Ohio. However, we are looking at moving to the Raleigh (Triangle) area for a multitude of reasons. The move is not urgent, so gathering info on things like, best places in the area to raise a family (schools, etc), best recruiters for senior level IT Project Managers (me), but most importantly, I'm focused on providing the best possible living and quality of life for my family.

Any info you can share would be greatly appreciated.

Raleigh is a long way from South Carolina, you may want to try the North Carolina forum...I'm sure there is a Raleigh specific sub-forum on there as well.
