Are you guys going to be able to get most of the crops in, or are you facing losing stuff? There are still corn and soybeans in a lot of fields around here! But then again, it's 68 degrees! We are supposed to get rain for the next three days, though!
On the drive to work this morning I noticed that Harney Peak was completely snowcapped. It's only drizzling in Rapid City but the Black Hills are getting snow. Deadwood's supposed to get over a foot and the rest of us will have 6-8 inches.
I have heard that areas of Western, Central, and NE South Dakota will get a sizable amount of the icky white stuff (snow). By late tomorrow to Friday, Sioux Falls area is supposed to get two inches or so and miss the brunt of the snow, but who knows. I am fine with two inches, as long as we do not get the freezing rain crap that ices and slicken up the roads. So long with the mild weather,

That's one part of this weather I hate early in the season. I feel for the farmers!
