I don't care, there are fans of those teams who have cable and want to see coverage on their team. And they should because they are part of the NFL
But from a business stand point your going to cover teams that people watch. Hell I hear ya, the Packers only get mentioned when Favre is in the news. They were supposed to talk about the Packers on Mike and Mike's two a days and the only thing they talked about was Favre. However, as much as Texan, Bengals or Browns fans would love to be on Primetime all the time the ratings just aren't as big as the teams mentioned previously.
People always complain about them showing the Sox and Yanks, well and time a team plays the Red Sox ratings are DOUBLE if that team would have been playing some one else.

Rachel Nichols asked LeBron a brilliant question during their interview, which aired this morning. Regarding his impending free agent status after this coming season, she asked him, "Will the decision be a tough one in 2010?" I totally expected him to say "Yes Rachel, it will be an easy decision." All that network is is promotion, platitudes, and anemic "journalism."
So this weekend was another Sox-Yankees series weekend.
Saturday afternoon on Fox, Sunday night on ESPN. I'm sorry, I'd prefer NESN over both these.
And then ESPN's Sunday night game starts at 8. Do these people realize how long Sox-Yanks games tend to go? What about people who need to go to bed to go to work in the morning? What about children who are the next generation of fans? What about the people who need to get home from Fenway or Yankee Stadium? Why the hell is the first pitch at 8:15? How about 7:05 like it should be.
Combined number of playoff appearances since 2000 for the first group of teams: 5
Combined number of Super Bowl titles since 2000 for the second group of teams: 7
I hope you this helps you understand why your post borders on stupidity.

This whole ESPN segment where Mort is driving around on a bus going to all the NFL camps...Can I just say that would be the coolest thing ever? I love road trips as it is, but to do so on a giant tour bus...As much as I hate ESPN most of the time if they ever offered me a job, I would take it so fast and pledge alligience to the dark side.
I HATE them as well, but they draw a big audience so from a business stand point it makes sense to show them
I wonder why?
Looking at the statistic books they have not won a playoff game since I was in 2nd grade(28,dec 1996) and I am now a junior in college
How can a team be bad for so long yet still draw in a huge audience? I thought americans liked the "Winners"
