tornados do not just happen in april and may. look at Branson last February.
I remember in kc there was one in december, dont know which year.
just because an area may not have tornadoes does not mean they never will.

why do you suppose they are testing sirens so much. they do it for a reason.

sinkholes can happen anywhere also, no matter where you live.

Good day all.So we are still looking at getting a place to rent as the time for relocation is fast approaching!I was hoping that members can give me an idea of how nice or otherwise Celebration Avenue (Zip code 65809) is.How about S.Eastgate apartments, anyone familiar with that place. The ratings on apartmentratings.com seems excellent but somewhat dated.Any contribution is most welcomed. Thanks

What do you reckon Springfield-Branson-Ozark-Nixa-Republic-Battlefield-Brookline will be like when your grandchildren reach retirement age?

Sixty years from now, I'll be long gone, but I hope Rolla still won't have a shopping mall or a Starbucks.

OP - 65809 is a totally okay zip code.

I live in 65810 and am quite fond of it as well... there are a couple of catholic and christian daycares/preschools/elementary schools near by as well.

Welcome to town!
