Hello,

My name is Denny I'm 23 years old and I'm considering moving to st george or cedar with my girlfriend. We both love the area and want to be closer to all the parks. I currently live in SLC and work as a Systems Administrator. All the IT jobs that i'm finding seem to be in the Wasatch front or las vegas.

Are there any realistic IT opportunities in the Area?

You're vague about what sort of IT job you're looking for, so the simple answer is yes, I'm sure there are some IT job openings a round here, which you may or may not be interested in/qualified for.

The local newspaper is at thespectrum.com | The Spectrum | St. George news, community, entertainment, yellow pages and classifieds. Serving St. George, Utah & Craigslist also has a St George section with help-wanted, etc. ads.

not sure of any IT jobs... i know a friend's company is hiring a webmaster, someone to maintain their websites or something here in SG.

i have found the utah.jobs.gov site to be very helpful when looking for jobs. they usually have quite a few listings if you check out their electronic job board. i like it more than craigslist b/c so many jobs on craigslist are scams.
