Do the buses generally run according to schedule? In particular bus 73. 10. 11, and 30?

I don't ride any of the ones you mentioned, but in my experience, they usually run pretty close to the schedule. I would pretty much always count on a 5 minute window and there are certain times of day when they are more likely to be running behind, but they do a pretty good job. Also watch out for special events and such, they are more likely to be behind then, even if the event doesn't affect that specific route.

I've only ever ridden the 10 Gravois/Lindell and it was usually a few minutes behind schedule, so I wouldn't even bother getting to the stop until the time it says it's supposed to be there. That way you'll only have to wait 2-3 minutes or so. This may vary by line and time of day, however. It's pretty easy to figure out once you ride whatever bus it is a few times.
