Episode aired lastnight on the History Channel. Did anyone catch it? I know StL is high in crime. I had no idea 1 in 35 in the StL city are gang members. That seems pretty high for the size of the city. Has anyone had run-in's with gangs in StL? Years back, I was robbed on St. Clair Ave in East St. Louis. Assumed he was a member of a gang. According to show, Boy's of Destruction dominate the streets of StL. Any run-in's? Great show, by the way, for those who haven't seen it...

I saw it last night. It was pretty interesting. I found it odd that the leader of the BOD was only 18 before he got capped. Weren't there any OGs?

I hadn't even heard of the BOD's until lastnight. I thought most gangs in StL were carryover from Chicago. I used to make deliveries all throughout the city years ago, and recall seeing 'BOD' graffiti. Now I know what it stands for. I assume there are a good amount of LD's in StL as well? I've seen a lot of their graffiti.

Yeah. I missed the last 15 minutes or so. But up to that point, it was all StL. Actually, I think the episode was titled "Gangland-St. Louis"

There is also a program called "Gang Nation" on the Discovery Investigation channel in which the journalist traveled to St. Louis to cover the Bloods. Its definitely worth checking out. The journalist does a good job in his analysis and I find that he is very objective.
