My husband and Mom suffer from arthritis and I have been hearing a lot of buzz about Monavie (a berry juice). It is touted as a "fountain of youth" type drink. Great for energy, aches and pains, inflammation and of course arthritis. Anyone have any first hand knowledge to share. It is very $$$ so I am skeptical that it is snake oil! Thanks for your input.
Is that like mangosteen? I looked at that yesterday at the health food store and is VERY expensive. Will just stick to my MSM/glucosamine, Omege 3 and Sam-e supplements!
I'm not familiar with mangosteen. Monavie is only sold through representatives and costs $40 a bottle. The bottle looks like a wine bottle... It is cheap if it works but pretty expensive if it is just juice... I'd like to buy it for my Mom to help with her arthritis but want "real life" input first.
Have looked at quite a few internet sites, and looks to be a possible MLM scam (marketing scam), so you might want to check into in more thoroughly. Can you get it in the health food store? If not you might ask, why not? It may just be a way to make money off unsuspecting people.

If you become a member you get it at a lesser cost. You only take 2 to 4 ozs a day.
Sounds "amway" to me too. I was hoping to hear feedback from someone who tried it and had good or bad results but DOESN"T SELL IT! I think you have to sell it to be able to afford it. However, if it actually worked I would pay a lot of $$ to relieve my Mom's arthritis pain...

I have tried it and continue to use it. I have upper back muscle issues and it helps with the inflammation. When I stop taking it because I have forgotten I have pain!
Then I think what have I done to be so sore?
I do not eat enough fruits and veggies either so with the few ozs a day you take of this it gives your daily recommended allowance, which i like too.
We have a few people that we know that have battled from high blood pressure and cholesterol and after taking this (Monavie) for a few months they no longer have issues with either. I know people that have arthritis and it has helped them.
So it helps to actually know the people it has done something for.
To me the high blood pressure and cholesterol thing cannot be wished away.
