Yay!

BUT... that Onondaga County pic is awful. lol - awkward-looking house, wild landscape and models holding who appears to be a textbook Appalachian child stereotype... dirty face, tangled hair and in serious need of dental work. Weird medley. Insult to injury - it says that our population declined when it actually increased. The Census needs to fix their website. Stat.

I'm thinking that they were talking about Syracuse's population declining, but it said that other towns in the county did gain people. Good news nonetheless.

Yeah I went back and re-read it and I do believe they mean Syracuse population declined... they just worded it kind of funky so it doesn't seem that way.

Am I reading it wrong or did Business Week rank it as #33 and Yahoo used the same information and ranked it as #6??

I didn't see anything wrong with the picture posted and I didn't see the stereotype that you saw. All I saw was a cute little girl. Maybe next time they can find a little blonde kid to please you.

All they need to do is brush the kid's hair and clean her face- it's agitating that the other pics for places look so nice and ours is all mismatched, like some modeling couple walked across a field and found an abandoned girl in some dusty bushes.

That's one of the things that makes our area so affordable. No childbirth expenses because we just find 'em in the bushes.

I wouldn't move to a single county on that list.

The full Business Week article lists them alphabetically by state. Overall, it ranked #6.
