Ft. Lauderdale or Tampa? Best place to move for a person in their earlier 20's to move with nightlife and young people? Which one do you prefer and why? Would love some advice and opinions. I've narrowed down my search to Ft. Lauderdale and Tampa.

FORT LAUDERDALE.

Has great nightlife compared to Tampa, it is also much closer to MIAMI for even more awesome nightlife...hands down Fort Lauderdale.

I second Ft. Lauderdale. I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale and then moved to Tampa for college. At that time in my life I would have preferred South Florida for fun. Tampa I'm considering now in my mid 30's as a good place to raise a family. There was enough to do in Tampa once you find your niche, but more options for everything in S. FL. GL.

Yep, definitely Ft. Lauderdale for you right now. Later on, when you want to raise a family, or "age out" of Ft. Lauderdale, then Tampa. Worked for me. Ft. Lauderdale is awesome (or it was, back in the day) for a youngster on the make.
