I stopped at the Starbucks on Dale Mabry and Linebaugh and this drainage ditch is next door. I think the bird might be a Roseate Spoonbill.

I wasn't sure if that one would come out - we were still on the causeway, but
I must have missed that pelicans sit on wires in my previous years here. This guy was waiting for the fisherman to catch something though. Smart

Reading this made me smile...alot. Thank you for saying that and for paying attention to my enthusiasm. I was hoping it would show.
In alot of things, I could be considered an impatient person so this slow and steady (smart I hope) pace I'm taking to prepare for my move is hard for me when I want to be there so badly NOW, lol. So spending time on here, reading, posting, etc. helps!
Yes, I have access to alot of beaches up here but it's still not the same and sometimes I have to pinch myself that it's (the plan) is real!

I must have missed that pelicans sit on wires in my previous years here. This guy was waiting for the fisherman to catch something though. Smart 
In alot of things, I could be considered an impatient person so this slow and steady (smart I hope) pace I'm taking to prepare for my move is hard for me when I want to be there so badly NOW, lol. So spending time on here, reading, posting, etc. helps!
