Those of us who live here and have travelled a good deal know that our airport is a gem. Tampa Bay has just so much to offer in addition to the great weather, nice people, and natural beauty. I feel so blessed/lucky to live here.

Being within 30 minutes drive to a major airport was a key factor in our choosing to live in Gulfport. We fly out of TPA monthly (non-business trips) and it's a well-planned and designed facility. We have always flown a lot and are familiar with many domestic airports and TPA is one of the best.

Who the heck cares about airports? air travel is miserable these days...what is the point in having a beautiful airport if going though it is like going though natzi camps? shoes off? this off? see through your freakin bones $hit, fee for this, fee for that etc etc etc! and so forth...I could care less...glad I was able to travel a lot before 9/11 and didn't have to put up with this garbage that's fed to people these days in airports!

Someone get up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?

My wife cares about airports. She travels around the country every week for her job. TIA (TPA) was a HUGE factor in our choice to move here and being only 30 minutes easy drive from it is a big bonus. She loves TIA (TPA). She is part of a fast track travel program. Much easier to get through, but even when I traveled I found it very quick and easy to get through there.

Yes, we qualify for TSA Pre-check and it makes a world of difference. Shorter lines, shoes on, jacket on, laptop stays in its case. Smoooooooooth!

TIA is magnificent! It always wins awards for its amazing design. It's by far the easiest airport to get around. I travel A LOT - in-country and overseas - and nothing beats TIA.

Yes, all the safety stuff is a pain in the rear, but my love for travel outweighs the minor inconvenience of safety checks.

How does one qualify for this? I've never heard of it before and am very interested in it.

TIA is nice. Orlando's international airport is also nice.
