On an anecdotal front, I'd have a hard time going from cheering for one of the elite NFL franchises to one that hasn't ever really been relevant save for a brief period from the end of the 90s to the early 2000s.

I bet you know WAY less than 1% of all NFL fans.
The bottom line is there are many reasons to be or not to be a fan of an NFL team. Everyone thinks their reason is right. However, the truth is that their reason is right for
them .
It really doesn't matter what team you like or don't like, just as long as you are enjoying the game. If you aren't, then it's time to find something else because life is too short to waste.

Mostly because they were caught cheating twice with spygate and deflategate. So they're definitely an exception to that rule.
