I find it comfortable and it's way better than what they were complaining about further north, in NC, where they were having temps in the 100's earlier and huge electric bills to go along with it.

That thread is about an OLD DRAFTY 2900sqft house. Of course they're going to have an outrages bill. This summer did start hot, but it's been hit or miss. We've had some really comfortable days for the hottest month of the year.

Comfortable? In light of and all due respect to your disability, how much physical activity are you able to accomplish, and how much time do you actually spend outdoors?

Obviously not much activity at all, but I do spend as much time outside as possible. When I was able to be active, I have stayed active with temps 20 degrees higher than this, with the same humidity......in both N.C. and TX.

Obviously not everyone likes heat and humidity, but others of us do. Different strokes.

I'm such a wimp. Seriously, that's incredible. I want to pass out after playing tennis for an hour in this humidity, and I grew up here. So I applaud you for being able to enjoy the outdoors in 100 degrees with high humidity.

Not everyone will like it, BUT they will stand a better chance of adjusting to it some if they do not try to avoid it all the time. IOW, if someone hides in AC all day long, they may never adjust. I think that is a simple mistake some people make.

I mean, often when people say its hot your reply is "is not as hot as xxx" ir someone says I took me an hour to get home and the reply is "traffic is worse in DC". My point is how is any of that help me not be hot or stuck in traffic.
