But if it went to $15 a hour many jobs will be lost and cause stuff to go up in price. So really it would do more harm than good. I do agree the min wage needs to go up, but not at $15 smackers a hour.

It's not. And income inequality also causes prices to skyrocket. We have the worst income inequality in our history today.

I guess $15.00 per hour is already resulting in less employees while the wages haven't gone up yet to $15.00

Very sad to see more people losing that low income starters job but say thanks to people who advocated for higher wages and got what we expected to happen.

However the item never vibrated but or order was delivered to our table
Mcdonalds is going to replace workers for machines every chance they get, wheter they make $10/hr or $15/hr their focus is on the bottom line, the machine is a one time cost, part of their capital budget on their income statement it looks more favorable than expenditure in wages, plus they get to write off their depreciation, it makes business sense 100% thats why its done, upper management is not sitting around trying to spite the people protesting for higher wages

I understand and I have seen it happen in Europe where it cost additional money to get cash at the bank through the teller instead of the ATM which saved the banks money on salaries, etc.

But the higher the demands for minimum wages are the faster companies are going to change things instead of fighting the verbal fight and looking like the bad ones and telling the workers that they are having entry level jobs they never got an education for and therefore earn less.

I wonder is unemployment benefits will make them happy and it only last for a certain time frame.

But people who disagree with me and the ones who think alike will never be open for a discussion and just claim they deserve $ 15.00 and we all need to pay $ 5.00 for a hamburger. In the end we will skip these kind of fast food restaurants and choose for something of better quality that we feel deserves a higher price.

$15/hr is ridiculous for a fast food worker. There are plenty of college educated people who aren't making $15/hr. It's greedy self-entitled people who think they deserve to make that much for doing simple, repetitive work. If fast food workers made that much, then everyone else's wages should go up too - this is called inflation and will hurt us all.

The shareholders need to make a profit on their investments. 15 an hour means prices need to be raised on everything. Mc Donald's doesn't own any farms.

That means customers will go else where or start eating more at home and less jobs! Liberal thoughts are always great

Socialist never realize that sooner than later you run out of other peoples money as it never comes from their own pocket.

The biggest losers are the young people who now got a start and job to move up the ladder later on. This step on the ladder will vanish. Say thanks to the protesters.

This. Tell these freeloading fast food workers to educate themselves and get real jobs.

I know people in the medical industry that dont make that

This because:
1: Greed! These corporations will do everything to maintain their slave workforce.
2: If workers were paid a livable wage, Republicans wouldn't be able to complain that there too many munching at the system!
3: Clearly, we no longer want the "economy" to move forward! Rich people don't support the economy, middle class does buy buying stuff continually.

It's a good thing I hate fast food, and don't spend my money on these greedy corporations!

It's a shame tho that we somehow keep voting those who perpetuate these disgusting practices!
