Default Wonderful

That would all be well and good if weather was everything, but it isn't.
Please post again in mid summer when the temp/humidity is about 90/90 and try to convince folks not to be negative about Fla.
And those hurricanes are just lovely too.

Default you people crack me up you got no clue

I grew up in northeastern pa near hazleton, the area recently on the news mostly lou dobbs cnn, about the rising illegal immigrant crime. if florida is so bad why is it when you go to a supermarket or a walmart here all i see all out of state plates. You must be in the minority. Move to northeastern pa where the scenery is dirt black coal banks , garbage filled parks , and the area is filled with cancer causing polluted cogeneration plants, This area is governed by micro governments as well which makes anything getting done at the local level impossible. Weather wise we get tons of snow and ice in the winter, where your stuck in your house for weeks and where driving in the snow is a lot worse than our traffic here you think us 19 is bad in pinellas travel i81 when it snows in pennsylvania. also 70 percent of the year is depressing cloudy days. Taxes are just as high as florida and there is income tax. Crime is bad everywhere small towns in pennsylvania are not immune medium sized citys like reading, Scranton, wilkes barre and hazleton are alot worse with crime than say areas of the same size in fla such as ocala, Melbourne, daytona and bradenton so you should be grateful you are in fla move out if ya dont like it. Ill buy you a ticket to Scranton and have you there for the winter and see how you like it .

I miss the Black snow myself...lol. Do me a favor, if you go back home any time soon, let me know so I can have you pick me up a case of Farmer's Iced Tea and a few Senape's Pitza's! My only complaint about Florida....too many chain restaurants, not enough good food.

People who haven't lived through 9 months of fog, drizzle, and cold just don't understand how great it is for the weather to be gorgeous 95% of the time.

Hurricane Schmurricane.

Hey Clearwater. I understand and know what you are talking about. Originally from Chicago area and lived in St. Pete for five years before coming down here to Ft. Myers. It is TOTALLY DIFFERENT down here in S. FL. You don't even know, believe me. I had NO IDEA how very different another city in FL could be. I had no complaints while up there and did not encounter one single thing up there that is so troublesome down here. I only came to accompany my fiance, and I am very sorry about it. I am moving back to the Tampa Bay area as soon as I can. Count your blessings that you are where you are, and please don't ever even think about leaving there. You are, in my opinion, in one of the very best areas - if not THE BEST - in Florida. Happy New Year!

Clearwaterdude-

Not everyone likes 80 degrees all the time. Change is GOOD. Four seasons are quite nice. Enjoy August when it is so unbareable you can't even go outside to work on your skin cancer!

There are alot of great places NORTH of Florida that aren't as though you described in Penn state. NYC, San Fransico, Seattle, Boston, ATL all are kick ass cities. Take off your blinders and realize the whole US isn't all about Florida.

Why don't you go take a shower? Usually in that Florida heat and humidity you need at least 3 a day!

Default ft myers a mess i agree

fort myers could be a nice area problem is greed. got relatives there who own a business there and spent time there. Lee county gave out too many building permits two quickly and ruined the infrastructure. Developers and greed ruined that place bottom line, but im sure every growing state such as arizona, nevada carolinas have areas that greed is the problem.

There's no such thing as positive or negative except in physics. Just tell the truth from both sides, nothing else matters.
