I just spoke with a 4th year medical student today from Spring City. He didn't have anything bad to say and spoke nicely of "home". He was so glad to be on rotation here in Knoxville and out of Memphis. There is Watts Barr Lake closeby and that is nice. Come on down and check it out!

Thumbs up Nice Lake

D.C. : My best friend has house on the large lake/river there in Spring City. Very nice upscale section of rt #27. The NOrth side of Dayton just got a brand new hospital last year. The TVA electric is growing with construction jobs building more capacity.
Yes this is very nice retirement country seting, bigger cities in both directions along I-75.

The East Tennessee Strawberry Festival is next week in Dayton. If you really want to see a cross section of the population, that would be the time.
