haha "better drivers." how much of your self worth comes from thinking you are a better driver? driving a car isnt exactly rocket science, pretty funny that you have factored it into your own calculation of what kind of a person you are.

Racing SCCA and Shifter karts when I was younger might have something to do with it too.

I love old cars, I love sports cars, but lets not anthropomorphize "soul" in a mass produced machine as anything other than what it is.
Every car as a flaw even newer cars they are cookie cutters they all looks the same with their angular headlights. Digital dashes, safety nannies to help you drive in a straight line because you need to update your FB status, etc. you see a car I see and feel more then that behind the right car.

I will keep with the newer, safer cars - probably most would.

There was a late 60s Camaro Z28 that I saw in a parking lot today - when he drove away, everyone could hear and feel it - spinning tires and loud exhaust - it was all about the show. Only problem is that my quiet Tesla would easily beat that car 0-60, 1/4 mile, around the track and at the pump - seeing and feeling is more about nostalgia than reality.

You are completely wrong, as usual. I've had over 130 cars in the last 40+ years, mostly sports and performance cars. As a competition driver I can probably out drive and out shift you. (my current car is a MINI Cooper John Cooper Works 2 seat Roadster with the turbo engine and 6 speed manual transmission). I'm just not a closed minded fool that thinks cars are human. And your comment about how all modern cars look the same is just as flawed as the rest of your argument. There's MORE differentiation between modern cars than there ever has been. Angular headlights? All the headlights look different these days, instead of the old days when EVERYBODY used the exact same 7" round headlights or quad 5 1/2" round headlights. Talk about the same... they were IDENTICAL back then.

No one cares how many cars you have or do have the fact that you bought it up is interesting though.
Like the poster above you missed the point. Feel free to brag about anything else

You're not getting an EV no matter what, but you're on an EV forum talking about personal preferences for vehicles that have lesser performance which you really like and where you're very willing to say things that simply aren't true. Seems pretty pointless, but I guess it's good entertainment.

You bragged about your irrelevant SCCA past to begin with, so quit being a hypocrite.

If i could go back in time i would buy a new C6 Vette and make gas prices go back to under $1 a gal for prem. So as long as gas stays high i will stick with my Bolt.

do you like that old time rock and roll? does todays music not soothe your soul? it seems like you wish to glorify the past and bash the new. cars dont have souls. they are tools.
