Hi-
What's Brownsville Like?

I've never been S. of San Antonio nor to Laredo.

Thanks,

you posted the same thread about 6 different cities.

there's already a bunch of info on the forum, search... at least then you should be able to narrow it down to one or two cities... then maybe ask.

just my opinion

yes i noticed that too. kinda odd.
fallguy...i would recommend that you FIRST do a search on the cities on this forum-you will find months worth of reading, i am sure. also check out the city websites, newspapers.
you ask a very open-ended question. after you have done your research, if you have SPECIFIC questions, post them.

I live in Michigan. As part of my General Motors related work, I did vendor cross dock audits all along the U.S./Mexico Border. Brownsville, Eagle Pass, Del Rio, Lorado, to El Passo, I would be in the area a week or two, fly in, fly home. Of all the border cities I've been to, I liked Brownsville the best and El Passo second. I did not really like Larado. Brownsville was a more laid back town. The Gulf (next to the Mexio border) is not all developed, and if you want glamor, South Padre Island is 30 miles away. At I liked Rudy's Bar-B-Q. I have been thinking of wintering there. And for those of you who think the U.S./Mexican Border is dangerous, come to Michigan and visit Detroit, Flint, and Saginaw.

brownsville is windy, and it's also what i call a 2-channel town. listening on the town you will hear that old style mariachi music or the N-word music. this town offers no diversity, jobs.
