Hello There:

I would like to post an ad in Texas. I am looking for something like the LA Times in California. All ideas will be appreciated.

Thanks

I'm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area but prefer the Houston Chronicle to the Dallas Morning News and Fort Worth Star Telegram.

I guess it depends on who you're marketing to but The Dallas Morning News is an excellent paper. I detest the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. The Houston Chronicle is good, as well. It and the Morning News are probably the best in the state.

The Houston Chronicle would be your best bet. Houston is 1a in size and the Chronicle is the only major newspaper in town.

The Chronicle is detested by the conservative crowd in Houston (but what paper isn't?) yet is rising in prominence along with the city. The three papers mentioned plus the San Antonio Express-News and the Austin American-Statesman are the largest papers in the state.

I have yet to be impressed by the Houston Chronicle. I'd say the Dallas Morning News.

IMHO, since the consolidation of the competing newspapers in every major city in Texas, there are no really good newspapers. The Houston Chronicle and the Dalls MN are probably two of the best, but what every happend to newspapers that actually reported the news ?
