Which of these states do you consider "Yankee States"? (eat, snow)

Yep, I voted Maryland, because they were the closest, to being Southern, now more Yankee, due to migration from the true Northeast. IMHO. But none on the list are really Yankee.

Missouri and Maryland have been thoroughly yankee'd but they are still Southern states, the rest are full of yankees and they are yankee states

My old roommate from here (Like 6th gen Texan or something) would consider all the above Yankee states. Our other friend from California laughed so hard he almost cried when he was called a "Yankee"
