I suspect consumers won’t be made to pay the full freight of their jacked-up energy bills; some politico will intervene so as not to make Tex-ass look even worse than it does now.

NOW would be a REALLY good time to cancel Autopay from your bank account on Electricity Billing if you do not have a set-cost provider. That will prevent your account from being cleaned out, and the payments bouncing.

Go blue or leave the state is the only option. Keeping red and this is the end result and its UGLY
Alarmist needs to make up their mind on climate. Is climate change refer to earth getting hotter or colder? Do need now need to burn more fossil fuels to make the climate stable?

No. Last thing TX wants is be like CA, NY or NJ.

Climate change is hotter overall, but not necessarily all the time and in all the same usual places. It is quite chaotic and the actual effects are not exactly known.

https://abc7.com/texas-weather-power...mate%20change.

Extremist always use CA,NY,NJ as examples as if there isn't several other Blue leaning states that enact policies and infrastructure that benefit the people far better than Texas does on several issues. TX is on the other end of that spectrum btw. It's really no middle ground and how the state government conducts itself for the greater good. But you know use the boogeyman extreme left states as an example.

To be fair though, it's much more likely that Texas GOP moves left on infrastructure than any blue state would enact conservative social policies.

That's why people don't want their state to be run by Democrats

No its not. Texas Republicans are amongst the most stubborn in the nation. Meanwhile, Texas has gone far more towards the middle of the needle. Neither will likely happen, but the latter is more likely than the first.

I'm just saying that the GOP is much more willing to move left on economics/infrastructure than the Dems are to move right on cultural issues.
For those who want social conservatism, they're not getting an ounce of it from the Dems so they won't vote for them.

Not in Texas. In Texas the opposite is true.
