We are relocating to Fort Worth area and our child has been diagnosed on the mild autistic spectrum and needs speech therapy. Please suggest mainstream schools that would have these services or access to them.

all public schools are going to have special needs facilities, especially the speech therapy--unless they are pretty small--some smaller districts contract their special needs services for some students to larger, neighboring districts (like Argyle with Denton ISD I believe)..

your child will have to be evaluated to determine what level of services he needs and how best to provide them--that means diagnosis and developing an IEP in conjunction with the diagnostician, speech therapist, and teachers...

as to WHICH ISD is the best provider of special needs services--there are varying opinions about that

How old is your child? I have a couple of suggestions for elementary school and middle school. If high school age, I have a friend who can help me answer that. (By the way, FWISD does have some pretty phenomenal special needs programs!)
