Our gas bill (we have 96% gas furnace) was only $64.16, so our gas bill was lower than our water bill. What is up with that?? What is your water bill like in Kitchener?

To be honestly I rarely check my bills for these thing too carfully, but I live in a detached home that is on the smaller side and have a gas range and my will is around 80-100 a month. Water ... is usually around 300-400 for each billing cycle, but we probably do use a lot of water (3-4 showers per day, wash a lot of clothes, dishes etc). Your bill really does not seem that high to me. I know my father a few years ago got some crazy bill from water or gas ex $1500 for 3 months or whatever the billing cycle was and they only have 3 people living in there house. He contacted them and it was a mistake. They corrected it and sent him a gift card in response to the error on their part. This bill really does not seem that bad.
