Did you already book? If not, I would highly recommend going to Puerto Vallarta instead. There really isn't much to do in Cabos, it's more like a tourist trap without any sort of culture, kind of like Cancun. In PV, you're among the locals and get a sense of their way of life. When I was researching between the 2, every single person that has been to both recommended PV over Cabos, stating what I just said. Just something to consider!

August it is hotter than the hinges of hell.
Most of the resorts are away from the town (which isn't all that big) so you will need to get a cab, one of the reasons I chose an all inclusive..one of the Rui's but forget which one.....Hotels are very good at hailing cabs for you.
Most of the beaches due to the under current are not swimable but beautiful none the less.
Per my hubbie fishing is great....


AHHH it was the Rui Santa Fe not a Hilton but for what I paid not bad at all
