I apologize if there is already a thread like this out there!

I'm going on a mini family vacay to Padre next week, and while we have most everything planned, I wanting to know about good restaurants, shops, etc. Any info is appreciated!

Thanks!

Yeah, you mean Galveston? I havent heard if SPI has been effected or not. When i was there we ate at Whataburger 3 times. The first one was great, second was good, and third was a big mistake, haha. We ate at a small seafood place too, i prolly have a review of it if you wanna look thru my stuff, and it was good. There are plenty of places to eat. We also ate at the bar we went to for NYE and it was good, i forget the name but it would be in my reviews too.

We enjoyed visiting here-

Sea Turtle, Inc. South Padre Island Texas Live Sea Turtle Cam Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle Rescue

There's various boat trips available. On our trip I seem to recall seeing the site of the last battle fought during the US Civil War, actually fought after the Confederate's surrender. Word had not reached there.
