I'm not really sure I understand your comments or question, but yes, I do notify my mother and/or husband when I/we get to our destinations safely (assuming big/international trips).....and yes, I'm 46 years old. It is peace of mind for her so I don't mind doing it. As far as friends in general, no I don't notify anyone in particular.

Actually I don't understand the confusion over the topic: Do you notify friends or relations when you arrive home from a trip... yes or no.
