Does anyone know how long it will take to get through Zurich Customs? I have a meeting at 9:30 am that is about 10 KM from the airport. According to google maps it is about a 20 minute taxi ride. My flight lands at 8:00 am I am wondering if this is enough time.

I do not recall any significant delay at customs/ immigration in Zurich or Geneva.

But that is a tight schedule, especially if not flexible in case of delays (including air delays). I assume you will have no checked baggage?

Now if you were flying into Rome...maybe after lunch would be workable.

In my experience, customs and immigration are trivially easy in Zurich if you don't present any special issues (such as appearing to be Muslim) but traffic from the airport to the city at 8 a.m. is terrible. A 20 minute ride can turn into an hour. Also, planes can be late. You should budget more time.
