By FAR my favourite is Las Vegas. I LOVE Las Vegas. I think it is the greatest city in the world! Second is Chicago Illinois. A really nice place to visit, great food and tons of stuff to see and do. Others are Savannha Georgia (Tybee Island) for its beauty and beaches. Palm Beach Florida.

Everybody should go at least once! I have been there 9 times and we plan to retire there.

Ive lived in Scottsdale and it must be different if youre just a visitor there, lol. Door County WI is also beautiful, Ive been to a few areas in WI and havent yet seen a section that wasnt admirable. Heck, my last visit there I almost didnt come back! Been to Springfield and Joplin MO too, very nice areas.
Getting to the point, I too would have to say there are several vacation spots I like, cant really point to just one.

Well, Scottsdale south of the 101 isnt appealing to me very much. In fact, I dont like it at all really. I LOVE North Scottsdale, its quiet and beautiful and actually, you know, looks like the desert unlike the rest of the city which tries too hard to replicate California it seems.

Western North Carolina, especially the Maggie Valley area. I LOVE it. I enjoy the mountains and the cool air, beautiful blue sky.......oh I want to go right now!
Driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway is one of favorite things to do there.
