Default Moving to Tri Cities any info?

Hi we are moving to the tri cities first week of June and have been looking for a cheap car like 500 cheap. I've posted on Craigslist to barter my husband's skills (laying floor covering) to trade for a car but no luck. So I guess it looks like we have to spend the money we were saving to live on till finding work. So could anyone suggest places to look been on craigslist and the herald but anything else that would help. Also does anyone have any pictures of the area I've never been there husband has but I would love see some pictures especially west richland the main area hoping to open our own retail store down the road so would like to see what it looks like. Also could you tell how cold it gets there stats say not to cold but I've heard others say it get bitterly cold which I think is funny were moving from Alaska but really how cold? Thanks in advance

What craigslist are you using? There is a new section for the Tri-Cities. If you can't find a car there, you may have to check the Yakima or even the Seattle craigslist listings.

Just glancing at the Tri Cities craigslist, I saw this one in Sunnyside:

http://kpr.craigslist.org/car/331748565.html

Sounds pretty good for $350.

If you're from Alaska, obviously you're not going to encouter "bitter cold" temperatures like that in the Tri Cities. The winter I lived in Richland, it did get a hair below zero for a spell but that's unusual. What I though made it uncomfortable were the times the wind blew and it was in the teens ...the wind chill factor made it seem much colder.

Thanks.

An area to buy a house, or rent an apartment would be Western Pasco. Safe area, accesible, inexpensive, lots of brand new. If you want to open a small bussiness some good areas would be Kennewick near the mall, or Richland near the Winco. Also there is Rd. 68, in Western Pasco, but it is very expensive for commercial space. Oh and we have gorgeous sunsets, just a little fact.
