Comes down to "Nature or Nurture" theories which are very interesting subjects.

In the formative years (up to age 5) if a young child is treated worse than a junkyard dog, it truly does something to the brain (sort of like rewiring it). There are therapies that claim to be able to help adults 'rewire' their thinking processes, it's a lot of work but supposedly can be accomplished.

Fascinating yet equally disturbing.
The court transcripts churned my stomach moreso. The defense sure practiced the slight of hand style.
To this day when I hear a juror speak on how it was a struggle to determine guilt I shake my head. All that evidence. All those glaring 'coincidences'. And yet the juror struggled.
This guy's own 'son' begged the courts to be lenient to his father. Somehow the kid has forgotten three murders..three daughters are gone from this world. This kid has zero ability to empathize with anyone other then his father who he barely had contact with.
Dna, blood, opportunity. And yes a sick mind. And yet..the jury struggled. Just like his victims struggled...
