Ex-actor Daniel Wozniak murdered his veteran friend Samuel Herr (who was helping him) and Herr's friend Julie" Kibuishi just so that he could fund his own wedding by stealing the $60000 that Herr had saved. He murdered Julie in order to cover up his murder of Herr, and staged a scene to frame Herr.

There is a video series embedded in this article:
How a California Community Theater Actor Tried to Frame a War Veteran for Murder - ABC News

Looking at his demeanor even after being arrested and tried, it reminds one of Scott Peterson.

He was just sentenced to death:

Daniel Wozniak, I remember reading about him, he was a horrible person. Like many other murderers, there was nothing else in his background to suggest he was capable of such a horrendous act.

I still believe his girlfriend Rachel was involved in some way, even if just after the fact. She was interviewed by Dr. Phil and didn't come off too well in that interview.

It seems that both Daniel and Rachel were broke and couldn't finance the lifestyle they wanted. And also wanted money to pay for their upcoming wedding.

I think he is on death row now.

I remember seeing a true crime show on this too. Probably dateline of 48 Hours. True sociopath there, able to kill friends for a few measly dollars.

Wonder what took them so long to put him away? The article says it happened in 2010 and he didn't get his sentence till January of this year if I'm reading it right. Guess I have to read the rest of the article.

His ex-fiancé Rachel could still get charged with accessory after the fact, which could put her away for 4 years. It's hard to believe she had nothing to do with it.

Since people were wondering, Daniel Wozniak was sentenced just a couple of days ago. He got the death penalty. He has shown no remorse.

From what I read about him, he was too lazy to work a regular job. His girlfriend didn't work either. They just wanted to play around at being "actors". Community theater is not real acting anyway.
