Where do folks in Tucson go if they want a fairly close (reasonable drive for the weekends outside of vacation) summer place (a little cooler)? I'm thinking, about 3 months, cabin, rv in park, whatever, does NOT have to be fancy...
For example, where I'm from people have summer cottages...
Thanks

We've gone to Summerhaven, but not for three months. It's about 20-30 degrees cooler than Tucson much of the time...very pleasant. I know people who go to Oracle, or up in the White Mountains. Other posters can give you more specific ideas, but those are starting places...

Generally, the White Mountains. Show Low, Greer, Springerville, etc. You'll find a number of Tucsonans who actually own cabins up there.
