It depends on the size of the unit. Most of the ones I am familiar with are owned by investors who use a property management firm to manage their units. Last winter friends of ours rented a 2BR/2BA in Oro Valley for $2100/mo Nov-Apr. They went through a local property management company.

There are a lot of condo complexes in the Tucson area managed by companies that have a lot of investor or corporate owned units, and who rent their units out to "snowbirds". Many also rent to cyclists who train in Tucson during the winter, and to those here for the Tour de Tucson, as well as relocated employees needing temporary residences while house hunting; those on temporary assignments here through the U of A, the military, and other firms, so there are a lot of available units (houses and condos). The best bet is to go online and look for property management companies and ask what they have at different complexes around Tucson. Winter rentals go quickly, so the earlier you put in a reservation, the better.

Marcy, OP wanted one month. and as i noted you can likely find anything for a price. 2100/mo is above OP expected price as posted, but you said Nov-Apr, is that a 6mo rental? OP seems to be in Phx now so kinda moot to keep this going.

If I had to do $95 a night, I would be looking at Florida, the Rio Grande Valley of Texas or even Charlotte, NC as an alternative.
Where are you planning to visit? Phoenix and Tuscon are approximately 150 miles apart and each has a separate forum here. This thread is not going to be useful to you unless you provide some relevant details.

Depends on whether you rent directly from an owner or a property management firm who handles many rental units. I don't think you'd find anything for $800.00 in January, at least not in Oro Valley. I don't know about Marana, Foothills or Tucson.
