Any pizza in Tucson that might remind me of New York?

Thick or thin? There is a place called New York Pizza on the eastside that serves thin crust pizza. I don't know how it compares to real New York pizza, because unfortunately, I've never been to New York. I love pizza. The pizza at Oregano's is really good, but I'm not sure what type it is.

Have you heard that the pizza and bagels in New York City are supposed to be really good because of the water?

AZnoob,

There's a Grimaldi's on 6th and Campbell. They make the brick oven coal fueled pizzas just like they do in their NY shop. It's great pizza if ya ask me.

There's Brooklyn Pizza on 4th Avenue. Whether it has anything to do with Brooklyn or not... I've no idea.

Naw...so not true. Some of the worst pizza I ever had was in MI. First was a flat, mushy flappy mess (thin crust) that was just loaded with grease. 2nd was a regular style pizza (hand tossed) but for the sauce they just used straight tomato pasta. NASTY thick gross paste for the sauce. Ick.
