We're here! We moved almost a month ago and are getting settled. So far, aside from the extreme heat, we are really enjoying the area. We've met some wonderful people and I have to say, Tulsa has some of the most courteous drivers I've ever experienced! Thank you for not laying on the horn when I need to get two lanes over. I've witnessed more drivers let people into traffic in the month I've been here than I've seen in all my years of driving (in many different cities/states).

I had to chuckle reading your post when you talked about how courteous the drivers are in Tulsa. A lady and her kids moved here a year or so from Oregon and that was the foremost thing she liked to complain about was how horrible and discourteous ALL the Tulsa drivers were. Most us Okies had to scratch our head on that one because if you've spent much time driving in other cities Tulsa does in fact have some very good/courteous drivers and are normally very patient.

Welcome to Oklahoma but you have to promise to convert shortly to start rooting for our beloved Sooners!

Yeh, MirandaPanda needs to learn to stay clear of those crazy Kiowas/Comanches!

At least we're "civilized" here in the central/eastern parts of the state. Well....ok....at least my tribe is civilized even if I'm not!

TNMama will soon learn football fans love to hash it out off the field as well as on.

You realize I moved from SEC country, right? I am well aware of the off the field "hashing" that goes on. Not only that, but I lived in Knoxville, TN - home of the UT Vols (and married a huge fan), but I pull for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Umm Hmm... makes things interesting.

We are a football loving family and I'm sure we'll adopt some local teams. Completely blown away at the size of the football stadium at the local hs. WHOA! I bet it gets wild around here.
