Aww, Casey may bite the bullet with this new operation? He got upset because Jane found another bf while he was gone to war when he left her as he didn't like her anymore?? That's some nerve! I liked Frost's Momma and her partner. That was so funny about the softball game.
I actually didnt like the softball game thing. They have let Maura play before (Boston Strangler Redux) and it seemingly wasnt even a question that she was on the team. Making a big deal out of letting her play this time seemed like a continuity error.
Did anyone know that two new episodes were on last night? I had no idea since I had not seen any advertising. I think this is the last season. Anyway, I just was flipping through the channels and found it.

I believe one of those was the finale from last year and the other a new one. I had seen nothing from the network for Rizzoli &Isles or Major Crimes . Unfortunately the only info on them is apparently on CD.
I join you in your assessment. As if Jill Hennessey weren't abrasive enough as the "I can't live by your rules" female professional of Boston, we now have Angie Harmon (as usual playing Angie Harmon) plugged into the stereotype. I love Lorraine Bracco, Sasha Alexander is attractive, and I give anything with female leads a try, but thanks to La Diva Harmon, this is unwatchable.
Why does every TV show today have to have an authoritarian lead that we're supposed to think is cute and cuddly in spite of his or her abhorent manners? Putting Leroy Jethro Gibbs in a pencil skirt and hair weaves doesn't make him any better.
Strikingly so, it's the only reason I'd even consider watching.

Thanks for the info. The first one, on at 9 p.m., showed as new, but I missed most of it. I remember parts of it from last season. I did DVR the one on at 10 p.m. and hoping that it is not a continuation of the earlier one.
