The show may film a few scenes in Syracuse.

That's what most shows except for that Detroit (they filmed everything there) one do. They film some backgrounds of places to make it look they are in that city but all the acting gets done in Hollyweird.

I like the first few shows, but it's going a bit downhill for me. And just for the record, as someone from NY, can I ask a question? WHAT is with the tank tops she wears in EVERY single episode?! I'm the first to admit she has really nice arms - but come on! It gets REALLY cold here and tank tops are not a year-round "go to" item in our wardrobes.

I'm definitely hearing the Aussie accent here more frequently than when she is on "Without a Trace", but then again I can pick up the Scottish accent every now and again on the political specialist on The Good Wife. Not often, mind you - but it's there. I still think actors that can stay in character of people from another country are great though (think Renee Zwellger doing the English movie whose name currently escapes me ...). So hats off to Poppy!

(Bridget Jones's Diary)

Yeah, I have lost interest in this show. Too bad because I really liked it at first. But I found myself getting up and doing other things when she went into the long drawn-out 'remembering' phases. I flipped over to Parenthood instead last week and have become an immediate fan.

Anyone still watching this show? I still am. I still like how Carrie can go back and "look" at what she has seen previously. What's going to happen when she finds out who killed her sister? Seems she's getting closer. I felt bad for young Carrie, her Mom throwing away her mutual stuff with her sister. Poor kid.

I lost interest as well because everyone else in the squad wears suits and she always comes in like she is working undercover or something and it is just not beliveable anymore and it is boring to say the least .

Naw, I've gone over to the Parenthood side.
The Carrie-sister-murder mystery was the main thing that I was interested in, and they were dolling it out in such teeny little pieces I became frustrated.
Bummer, because I really did want to like the show.

Jane Curtain joined the cast as the medical examiner. When I see her I hear a little voice in my head saying "Jane you ignorant ****!".

I'm liking this show more and more now that Carrie is only sometimes into her sister's murder. I'm liking Jane Curtin too. She adds some refreshing comedic moments.

I don't like that Jane Curtin was added. I can't take her seriously and it takes me out of the show when she shows up.
