Only thing I can think of on why her number came up was maybe because she ordered large quantities of lye.
Reese said why her number came up but I guess no one can remember what he said. I know I heard it but I didn't let it sink in.
Great ending, I think. Can't decide whether I liked it or not. Did he or didn't he shoot? I wonder if Reese killed the guy and used the lye? Will they show us what happened? Great way to make the show "water cooler" talk!
I thought that it was established in the first episode that they will never know the reason why the computer pulled the number. They can speculate all they want but Ben Linus said that all he gets is a list of numbers.
I know what you mean. Ben was such a deep, complex, multi-faceted character in Lost I was wondering what Michael Emerson could do with this character, but he's pulling it off nicely. He's fascinating to watch, and I like the way the writers are developing his back-story. And it kills me, because I didn't want to sucked into anything this season, but this and Revenge have got me by the throat.
I don't know...if I were a bad guy in that trunk for a while and all I had to do was roll over on other bad guys to get out...I would do it without torture just to get out. Yeah, I liked this one, with the judge and the boy kidnapped, it had some real suspense going! They need to do more flashbacks on the backstory on those two...interesting that way!
Last ep was good.
I was kinda hoping that the mystery villain of ep 3 and this international gang were tied together somehow to tie each episode together, but this doesn't seem to be the case.
I guess that the backstory between our 2 main characters is the thread that keeps each individual episode together.
Which is fine by me.
This is one of my favorites of the brand new shows. Jim Caviezel is also one of my favorite actors. So, hey, I'm happy.
I think the OP was reading more into the script of this show than necessary. At least it has some originality to it, unlike some of the cop shows running on the same theory ~ like "Castle" and "The Mentalist" (neither of which I like, by the way).
