I can't believe I got to Page 3 before I saw "24" mentioned! Everyone knows about my addiction to the show. Monday night routines revolve around it. CSI Miami, Monk and Numb3rs are other favourites. I used to love Northern Exposure. Probably will get the DVD set now that I think about it.
I'm a College Football junkie! On Saturday the TV never goes off if I'm home, even if I'm not watching it. There will be games from 1030 in the morning to well past midnight. I'll keep catching parts of the games, as I go about my day.

I've tried watching 24 a few times, and I just can't get into it. Maybe if I saw it from the very beginning. But jumping in midway, I just don't enjoy it.
MONK is great. Not really because the mysteries are that great. They're pretty standard. But the characters are so much fun. Tony Shalhoub is awesome, and the rest of the cast is ten kinds of excellent.
Northern Exposure was great. I've got the first set of DVDs. Great show.
Pixie, you're right. Deadwood is in western SD. We were just out there a couple weeks ago. If you ever get in this area, you HAVE to see about the 50 miles radius of that town. The show is actually taken from the historians and Deadwood itself. I understand it's supposed to be pretty accurate and that's scary. The town had been dying out until the late 80s when they legalized gambling there. Now it's definitely a boomtown again and you wouldn't believe all the rock n roll concerts and events they have there. They have things right on main street and people walk around with their open drinks and slip into the casinos to try their luck. Kevin Costner owns some casinos out there and we were in one and it's beautiful. If you saw a documentary about Deadwood, they probably also mentioned the spooky Franklin Motel. Ghostly!!!! Deadwood is in the Northern Black Hills. It's only about 50 miles from Mt. Rushmore. (Sorry, I don't mean this post to be a plug for my state ) OH yea, and about the Erica Kane fashions your Mom and Grandma wore~I wore them myself. We were just stylish chics back then.
Mark, I'm glad to hear one other person in the world who wasn't fond of that show. I'm still glad it is on the air, but it's just not for me.
A1M, you probably just missed AMC for too many years. I still think it's exciting. There are a lot of new characters on there since you probably saw it. If you started watching it again, you'd turn into an AMC addict like I am.

That's what my mom used to say too....you guys must've been smoking the same funny stuff or something Actually it wasn't ALL horrible. Most of it was, but some styles were nice....but not feathers coming out of a hat!!!!
Don't worry about plugging your state, if I had the money or time (or when I do, I should say), my dream vacation is to rent an RV, throw the husband, kids, and whoever else wants to come, in it, and tour America. I want to see the famous/popular (I mean spots, not people), deserted, haunted, quiet, wild and exciting spots all throughout this country (just not the dangerous spots...or the obnoxiously rich ones).
Supernanny is a scary show. It makes you realize just how good your kids are even when they're not listening. (However, instead of creating a whole show, these parents should just smack the crap out of their kids once or twice and that should save the time and money).
I've seen Monk a few times Tony Shalhoubs was really "funny" on there...I enjoyed it.
Deadwood, Sopranos, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, The Office, and Survivor. I use to really love Desperate Housewives but now the Terri Hatcher charatcer drives me crazy with her stupidity...her on show character just gets me mad when she is always so clumsy and stupid!

Other than Survivor (which I have never watched), and Deadwood (which I just can't get into no matter how hard I try) I'm with you on all counts.
Have you seen the original BBC version of The Office? It's very British, so it might not be for everyone. But I think it's brilliant. I love the US version too.
I have not seen the BBC Office - I can't wait until the season opener to see about the young couple in love. The show is such a hoot-I always have to laugh about something. My husband missed the one where the boss and Michael slept together-I had the hardest time trying to tell him about it and not get stupid acting myself...great show.
Grey's Anatomy is my favorite right now. Also love Rescue Me, (Wish they would let it run longer before they have the season finale) Desperate Housewives (it's sooo campy) CSI, and alot of reality tv!! someone please help me!! lol
