Already got it DVR'd. A couple months back I watched the 1st 2 seasons and got hooked. At first I wasn't going to bother with A&E because they cancelled The Glades but they drew me back in. Now if they give Longmire the boot I'm done

DVR'ing it, and will FF through the commercials later this evening. The first season disappointed me, because I wanted it to be "just like in the books," but in Season 2 the show really came into its own, with independent story lines and character development. So glad there's a Season 3 now!

But how did the cow feather get in his body? The doctor found it while he was working on him. Had it been on the outside the Sheriff would have seen it while he was "stitching" him up.

It was inserted into his bullet wound. Trouble is, by that time Branch had already seen the dead man and identified him--and the peyote wasn't working until after he was shot, so the drug couldn't explain why Branch would have a vision of the dead guy, in spirit paint...

Really interesting plots...do we know the origin of the two long scars on Walt's back?

(So nice with a set of images that can chase the sight of Oberyn (GoT) away from my dreams tonight!

Nice start to another season. I like all the characters in this series - it seems they have good chemistry and it shows up on the screen.

I seem to remember a previous show where he went through some sort of N.A. ritual with Henry, where Walt had two long bones tied to leather thongs, inserted under the skin of his back. But I can't remember what the purpose was. Little Big Man came to mind when I was watching it.

They were the result of a attack he suffered while in Denver trying to find his wife's killer. Henry was shown stitching him up in a hotel room, that is what got Henry to find Hector and hire him to take care of the problem.

The ceremony that Henry helped Walt do would have resulted in scars on his chest,
