Like a lot of you I liked them both, but Bewitched I liked better. To me it was wittier and more creative and I loved all the wise-cracks and sarcasm! All of the characters on that show were great - there were so many. Fun show!

Bewitched, no question. Better writing: better stories, better characters.

I remember watching both as a kid, and I preferred "I Dream of Jeannie" because of the costume and because the opening credits was a catchy cartoon. The first episode that comes to mind is the one where her husband shrunk down to the size of a pencil.

For me Jeannie was more ridiculously funny and enjoyable but Bewitched had a more solid story line and cast of characters and longevity. I'd pick Samantha over Jeannie overall but I loved Jeannie too no knock against her.
