I am actually enjoying this season for the most part with one exception - Tara. Now, I know it's a tv show and a lot of the stuff isn't realistic but all this plotting by Tara is so outlandish that I'm having a hard time buying it. Especially tonight's episode... I just ended up rolling my eyes. The planning is so elaborate and involves so many parties... There's no way she'd ever get away with all of it, not to mention that I have a hard time buying into the idea of her thinking all of it up.
Jax just got a dose of reality from Venus' mom.
Several threats now. Nero could be taking the deal. I think the new partner, the retired cop, will be the one to make the play against the MC. Witness to a murder by Jax.
The whole Tara story is just too over the top.
I agree with the others that the Tara storyline is getting a little crazy. I guess her next step is to divorce Jax and get his rights to see his kids taken away. One of the things that's bugging me is why is Wendy her only choice for a foster mom for the kids? Doesn't she have family or know someone else who could help her? It hasn't been that long since she was a doctor in Chicago (or wherever she lived before returning to Charming) and I can't believe there's not a better choice for potential parents somewhere in her background than a former crackhead.
Last night's episode was another example of how sometimes the show can get a little too convenient. In one scene the DA is threating Barosky and then a short while later he witnesses Jax killing someone. I really like the show but sometimes it can be a little hard to take.
I just find the whole Tara story line a bit like a soap opera, and they stumble upon a child porn ring and do not alert authorities, they could have taken the heat off of the them a little bit from the town perhaps, and a biker club opening up an ice cream/candy store in town? really?? I really love this show but some how its becoming a little unbelievable.
Yeah it's starting to introduce too many plot holes and credibility issues, of which I am usually patient with in terms of script-writing. This fake blood bag, aborted pregnancy thing is just too contrived. What, the hospital cannot determine that she was not pregnant and had no injury that resulted in bleeding?

Or she had those other doctors wrapped around her finger like she has Margaret Murphy for the past few years and they were in on it.

It wasn't fake blood, that was the blood that Tara drew at the beginning of the episode. And I think Tara thanking Margaret for going above and beyond means that the hopsital was going along with the fake pregnancy. That being said, I agree that the story stretches the bounds of credibility. Does Jax really believe that Gemma would kick her pregnant daughter in law in the stomach? I could see him believing that at first because of all of the emotions involved but at some point he has to realize it was a set up.
Completely over the top. Ive been wishing ill on Tara for some time. Was she even pregnant?
No.
