Ugh. I've already said this before. I really get annoyed when they insert sex scenes in the show. Like the other posters said, sex is the very least on my mind on a zombie apocalypse.
The very first sex scene they showed was between Shane and Lori and I was highly annoyed. I actually always say that I hope the zombies eat them while they're doing it.
I actually don't know if I can even make myself sleep during zombie apocalypse without fear of being eaten while I'm drooling, what more sexing anyone?

That at least served a purpose though. The purpose of: "Who's baby is it, Shane's or Rick's"?
So, it was a little important to the plot at that point to increase the conflict between the two.
Oh yeah, who's baby is it? That's the $64 question. Lori told shane it's not his. But I think she knows it's Shane's. Why else would she try to abort it?
I think it's Shane's. I doubt it's Rick's. Poor baby.

uhhhhhh.....I can think of more than one good reason for Lori to have aborted it, none of which include the paternity.
