Carol is my hero. I love her. She went from being helpless to heroine. I love how she is snaking things here and there (the knife, the clothing..). She is such a badass. Her betty crocker persona is the best. She knows how to play people and it's hilarious to watch.
Feeding the pigs walkers and then giving them to Negans group is pure genius. I love it.
Honestly I am okay with not seeing Rick for 3 weeks. He is just going to be wallowing in his stupidity anyway.
When she wheeled past the knife w/o taking it I was like what? then she grabbed it and I was like HA that is the Carol I know.
yeah, the ending of Negan's group is most likely going to be a real blood bath. They ought to hand Negan up and feed him to the walkers....starting with the legs, a very slow death....
ummmm, Kevin, I don't see Carol as a meek and clueless woman at all...lest we forget, when Rick banned her a few series ago, and she survived and showed up to save them, and she killed that leader lady, the one who was eating people...what was the name of that community.
she has been playing meek and mild for a while, b/c I think she is sick of killing...and it's confusing her....
this is not the culture she came from....and after killing people so much, sooner or later, it's got to catch up to a person? No?
I think she was also playing meek and mild in Alexandria, b/c she didn't want them to suspect that she was a bad person for killing people...and being a tough guy?
thoughts?
On the Talking Dead last season she said it's both. She's play-acting, but she also is horrified at who she has become and doesn't want to be a killer.
I don't see what the problem is. This episode was a welcome relief from last week's horror. Last season's episode that focused on Morgan was one of my favorite episodes of the series, yet everyone was complaining "What about Glenn????" I don't mind 2-3 week lapses in between getting back to where our main group is. I mean, what are you worried about exactly? Seeing the trailers, we know that they go back to Alexandria so I'm not really concerned about them too much at this point.
I agree 100%.. this episode was needed to recover, for me anyway. I loved this episode.. And i'm sorry I know Daryl is the shows big gun, but honestly all he ever does is grunt around. I cant understand what he says half the time and feel like this weeks episode is going to be Daryl grunting...
on another note, I listen to a podcast about the show and the host went to Walker Stalker in Atlanta and he was saying the Jeffrey Dean Morgan had been getting real Death Threats from fans for killing Glenn... Some just take this too far...
I like Daryl, but he needs to away from the group to be good. With the group he's too much in the background to Rick and his 101 facial expressions of regret.
