I agree that the judges just are wrong more than they are right. They seem to judge based on what would be the most unique rather than what would actually sell in the real world. Let's face it, anyone who could actually look at Emily's cushion dress and claim they love it has no business judging a Kmart style show let alone one on this level. Tim is actually the only one who seems to have a real grasp on what women would buy and they would do the contestants a favor by letting him have the final word.

I agree but I'd miss his critiquing scenes in the workroom. I also think Heidi, who wears clothes, is a better judge than the other two.

I don't understand why the judges let Char go on to Fashion Week. She has been in the bottom so many times, and with the exception of the blue dress last week, nothing she has made has been all that wonderful.

Korina was toxic to the group. What a poor sport! I thought it was telling that the remaining contestants felt so much better when she was gone. Should be interesting to hear all their reactions if they have the reunion at the end of the show.

I think that both Char and Amanda were sort of "escorted" into the finals, both had redemption stories, and so I think that both were given a bit of latitude. I think that Char suffers from not being good at construction. Amanda has made some very clunky outfits, and some very good ones. The show is invested in these two more than some of the others.

Korina probably made the correct choice in asking to be excused, she just went about it in the wrong manner. She really is an immature, bitter and angry person. For her sake, hopefully someday she is able to look back at this and grow and learn from the experience. Maybe she is already embarrassed for being such an arse, as she should be. Like Amanda said, it sucks being eliminated, Char didn't eliminate her, the judges did, so she shouldn't direct her ire at Char.

They didn't announce anyone as a winner for this challenge, or did I miss it? IMO, it would have been Kini. I don't know why they fawned over Sean's white outfit, all I could think was that I wouldn't want to walk around NYC in that, it would be nastily dirty by the end of the day. I wasn't fond of Amanda's mumu, nor her bondage repurposing of Fade's outfit. Char and Emily were a tie for me, so what do I know?

Yes, this season has been underwhelming. I always wonder if some of the designers eliminated early on would have been better. This season, moreso than ever.

Two things I didn't like about this season: A returning designer and the Tim Gunn save. And both of these people, Amanda and Char are in the finale. I also thought the judging sucked, so I guess that's three things.

I'm glad this season is almost over, I didn't enjoy it as much as earlier seasons. I don't think the designers were that talented, nobody WOW'ed me at all. Tim didn't seem to be enjoying himself either, I can't remember him saying 'make it work'. Did he?

So I am rooting for Kini. Not that I think he is this great designer but because he seems like a nice guy and I did like a few of his designs and I am a fan of denim.

I really don't get Char still being there, at all. The only design that was even noteworthy was the dress she made last week to save herself. Her construction was awful, the designs horrendous and they let her in and not Emily??? (not that I liked Emily's).

Korina was definitely a spoil sport, however I 100% understood her frustration. Char, IMO is one of the worst designers on this show. She was saved not once, but twice (the zipper fiasco). Korina needs to grow up an act like a professional.

On a totally unrelated note I never noticed until last night how short Zac Posen is!

Last night's episode cemented why Char needed two "saves." They even noted her poor construction, yet she's still there.

IMO, none of them nailed both parts of the challenge, but I'm glad Sean made it. I loved his crisp, white outfit.

It's funny that Kini was originally going to go with a simple outfit underneath his trench coat and Tim Gunn encouraged him to "go bigger" and kind of dissed the coat. Then the judges criticized Kini for not using a simple outfit to go with that fabulous coat and lavished praise on the coat. The exact opposite of what Tim had suggested. Kini should follow his own instincts. I love Tim, but something about him seems off this season, almost as though he isn't thrilled about being there.

So true! I noticed that throughout this season. Either that, or Tim Gunn is smarter than the judges
