Are there any Brotherhood fans out there? What are your opinions of the show, the Providence scenes, etc?

I was born and raised in Providence and enjoy watching the show mostly to see the City that I have not been in for over 12 years.

I believe it has less soap opera content than The Sopranos but some of the writers are the same so the format kinda sorta resembles that show.

Guess there aren't!!! Mods note: Might as well yank this thread as it appears to be taking up space.

I love the show, and since the Sopranos has ended this is a good replacement. Please dont mention the 2nd season as i have only just started to watch this. But can talk about the first season.

This is one of my favorite shows and I look forward to it's return.

One thing I could never figure out is why the Politician still lived in that dumpy neighborhood where he grew up.
In real life he would live in a MacMansion in the suburbs.

Its amazing i think.

Please no spoilers, im up to episode 5 of season 2. Just watched the episode where Colin found out who his father was.

I think the Politician (Tommy) still lives in that street because he is old school. He isnt forgetting where he came from and wants his kids to have a normal up-bringing.

Default "Brotherhood" questions

I've seen about 5 episodes of the current season, and I love this show! The acting and storylines are outstanding, IMO. Since I didn't watch the show from the beginning, I have a few questions: Is Declan's estranged wife (I think her name is Cassie) related to the Cafferty's? Is Declan related to them or is he just a friend? Was the red-head who was at the restaurant with Michael and his mom in this week's ep a sister? Thanks to anyone who can answer this!

Did anyone watch last night's episode? All I can say is "WOW!"!! Cannot wait for the season finale next week... (Does anyone know if it's been renewed for another season? I know the ratings aren't the greatest, but I'd hate to see it end...)
