wow this one was really strange for the first ten mins or so and omg that girl Kristen dunst hitting that guy with the car and bringing him home LOL ....I thought for sure her husband was dead ...
Ya know! I don't think we've seen the last of the UFO. At the end of episode 2, when Ed got off the phone with his wife, we heard a recitation of the opening of H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds. Sort of a condensed version – maybe from the radio show or the movies.

Then, as the camera panned up the outside of the butcher shop building, just before the credits rolled, a white light could be seen flashing – very briefly - maybe a reflection of the UFO in the windows.
